A unique residential commercial community, East Hanover ranks among the
county’s top municipalities for industrial, business and commercial rateables. The 8.1 square mile township is a highly developed complex of residential subdivisions, industrial parks, contemporary headquarter offices, warehousing facilities, cemeteries and retail strip malls which stretch along Route 10 as
it bisects the community.
This array of competing elements is extremely well handled by local administrators of planning and zoning. Most industrial facilities are well-placed and well-screened from residential settings. Suburban residential areas are attractive, well designed and offer a varied price structure.
The public school system is excellent with two elementary schools and a middle school operated by the East Hanover Board of Education. In addition, there is a parochial school, St. Rose of Lima Academy. East Hanover graduates usually move on to Hanover Park Regional High School, which is a highly respected high school operated by the Hanover Park Regional Board of Education.
The community has much to offer, not only to existing residents but also to anticipated new residential development. The municipality offers a fine public school system, and its expanding municipal services keep pace with the needs of residents.

Excellent commuter train transportation from Madison and Chatham to Newark and New York City with intermediate stops. Commuter coach bus service for direct transportation to midtown New York. Limousine service to major airports from Morristown and helicopter service to all major metropolitan airports.

Route 10 is becoming one of the finest shopping areas in New Jersey.

County, state and federal
parks, are within a few minutes drive where you can try your
hand at everything from bocce to baseball. The Morris County
Park Commission operates 24 sites, including three golf
courses, two aboreta and the Mennen Sports Arena and offers
a year-round program of activities throughout the county
like adult education courses, programs for school children,
